Iran ups exports to Pakistan by 66% in 4 months

IRNA Iran's Commercial Councilor to Pakistan Mahmoud Haji Yousefipour says Iran's exports to Pakistan in the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2018-July 22, 2018) showed a growth of 66 percent.


Iran Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) website quoted Haijipour as saying that Iran earned 377 million dollars out of exports to Pakistan.

He said Iran's four-month exports earnings in the same period last year stood at $227 million, showing 66 percent growth.

He went on to say that date and chocolate exports to Pakistan grew by 633 and 276 percent, respectively in the same period.

The official said date export revenues reached above $12 million in the first four months of this year from $1.6 million in the same period last year.

Moreover, chocolate exports revenues amounted to $7.3 million in the first four months of this year from $2 million in the corresponding period last year.
