Mazandaran non-oil export rises 14%

IRNA - Non oil exports of Mazandarn Province have grown 14 % this year despite imposition of the U.S sanctions, head of Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines Abdollah Mohajer said on Wednesday.

'In the first quarter of the current Iranian year (beginning on March 21, 2018) about 230 million dollars of goods have been exported to other countries of which 150 million dollars were exported from three customs of the province, ' Mohajer noted.

Elaborating that the growth in Mazdndaran Province exports in the current year has resulted from an increase in the number of countries targeted for export especially India and Italy, the official stated that in the previous year totally about 800 million dollars of non oil goods produced in Mazandaran were exported abroad half which were exported from customs outside the province.

Mohajer further noted that one third of Mazandaran exports was transported to Iraq.
