IRNA – Iran’s economic delegations and their Syrian counterparts held a meeting in Damascus.
Iran’s economic delegation headed by deputy minister of road and urban development Amir Amini arrived in the Syrian capital Sunday night.
The two sides reviewed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on economic cooperation. The MoU was signed in the previous months in Tehran and Damascus, and in the latest round of talks, the details are being discussed.
The two delegations are evaluating each other’s capacities in all areas, particularly in economic spheres. They also are set to determine the next steps of the cooperation.
Industrial and technological, establishing small economic enterprises, and reconstruction of Syria’s infrastructure, among others, are issues that are discussed in the current round of talks, and the related agreements are set.
