Pakistani media: Imran accepts Rouhani's invitation to visit Iran

IRNA - Media in Pakistan on Thursday gave wide coverage to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani invitation to Prime Minister-designate and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan to visit Iran after taking the oath, which was accepted by the PTI chief.


Rouhani extended the invitation in a telephone conversation with the PTI chief while congratulating him on the triumph of his party in general elections in Pakistan.

Daily Dawn reported that Iran's President Hassan Rouhani has telephoned PTI Chairman Imran Khan to congratulate him on his party success in the July 25 general elections and expressed willingness to further improve bilateral relations.

The Iranian president extended an invitation to Khan to visit Iran after taking the oath, which was accepted by the PTI chief.
