US intl. status lost after N-deal exit: Intelligence min.

MNA Iranian Intelligence Minister Seyyed Mahmoud Alavi believes that US has lost its international status after unilaterally withdrawing from the JCPOA.

The minister made the remarks in a ceremony in Iranian province of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad on Tuesday where he was introducing a new director general for the provincial office of the ministry.

Even if Trump brings US back into the nuclear agreement, there is no guarantee for US not leaving the agreement again. The Iranian nation has no trust in US based on the experience of the past, he maintained.

He underlined that forcing into submission the people who have resisted war, threats and sanctions in the past 40 years, is a wild dream.

Trump should not hope to win anything against the Iranian nation with his policy of imposing intimidating, deceptive and bullying behavior. The US has ruined its international reputation by leaving the JCPOA and Trump is now in an unstable situation, he added.

The Iranian nation will not kneel before Trump's empty threats, and the enemies of the Establishment should know that if they make a mistake, they will receive a harsh response from the Establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he asserted.

Trump is after crushing the hope of the Iranian nation and widening the gap between the people and the government through exerting pressure, intensifying childish games, and waging a psychological warfare, Alavi said.
