DM: Iranian Armed Forces ready to give crushing response to aggressors

FNA – Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami underlined that the country’s Armed Forces are prepared to punish any enemy who dares to pose threat and aggression against Iran.

“The Armed Forces are fully ready to give a crushing response to any ill-wisher aggressor given their abundant capacities and operational capabilities, proper strategies and modern and advanced equipment,” General Hatami said, addressing a ceremony in the Western city of Dorud on Wednesday.

He also said that Iran stands among the top world states in the field of defense industries, adding that the country’s home-made weapons and military equipment are produced according to needs and Iran’s geographical conditions.

In relevant remarks earlier this month, Khatam ol-Anbia Centcom Chief Major General Gholam Ali Rashid said the Iranian Armed Forces were fully prepared to give a crushing response to any threat and aggression.

“The Iranian Armed Forces and honorable nation are vigilant and prepared, more than the past, to protect and defend Iran’s territories against any threat of the terrorist and Takfiri groups as well as the mischiefs of the ominous regional coalition,” General Rashid said, addressing the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force commanders in Tehran.

“We will not let any threat at any level go unanswered and there will certainly be a firm and crushing response” to any threat or hostile action, he added.

Also, last month, Commander of the Iranian Army’s Khatam ol-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi-Fard underlined that his forces would not allow the enemies to interfere and implement their aggressive plots in the country.

“The Air Defense Base forces will not compromise the (Islamic) Revolution’s causes to the last drop of their blood,” General Sabahi-Fard told reporters in Tehran.

“We promise the dear Iranian nation that our forces, armed with the best equipment, will not allow the enemies of the Islamic Republic to do any meddling,” he added.
