president.ir- The president ordered the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade to investigate the issue of violation of regulations regarding import of foreign cars and the distribution of vehicles by domestic automakers within 15 days, and to announce any violation clearly to the people and the judiciary.

Following an announcement by regulatory authorities regarding placement of orders to import more than 6,400 vehicles from illegal routes, as well as reports received about people and consumers� dissatisfaction regarding the distribution and pricing of domestic automotive products, President Hassan Rouhani stressed the need for transparency and confronting any kind of corruption, and ordered Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Dr Shariatmadari to investigate if any violations were made regarding both issues within 15 days and introduce the offenders to people and the judiciary as soon as possible.
