MNA � The Iranian 1st Vice President Es�hagh Jahangiri will pay a visit to the northern port city of Bandr-e Anzali to inaugurate a new transport corridor to connect China, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran.







Es�hagh Jahangiri will pay a visit to the Anzali Free Trade Zone today and will inaugurate several industrial and trade projects.

During his visit, it is scheduled that the first freight train passing the new transport corridor will arrive in the Caspian port.

The Iranian first vice president will also open the Foman Shimi factory in Anzali Free Trade Zone.

The new railway line, which connects China to Kazakhstan and passes through Turkmenistan and Iran, is expected to enhance trade between those four countries. Previously, the transport of goods from China to Central Asia was mainly carried out by sea and by air.
