MNA � The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces have reported of deadly clashes with a terrorist team in Mirjaveh along the border with Pakistan last night, foiling their terrorist attempt.







The Public Relations Department of the IRGC-Qods Base- issued a statement on Tuesday saying that a team of Takfiri terrorists were trying to infiltrate Iran�s borders in Mirjaveh.

According to the statement of the IRGC Qods Base, Last night (July 25th), a terrorist team affiliated with Takfiri groups intended to infiltrate Iran�s borders in Tahlab region in Mirjaveh and carry out acts of terrorism and sabotage, but Iranian security forces deployed on the border spotted them soon and engaged in armed clashes with them, killing and wounding several of them while forcing the rest to escape.

The IRGC statement added in the clashes and exchange of fire between the Qods Base's forces,�three terrorists were killed and several others were wounded while the rest had to escape to the other side of the border with Pakistan.

Meanwhile, two Basijis and an IRGC soldier were martyred by the terrorists in the deadly clashes, according to the statement.

It concluded�that Iranian security forces are fully prepared to defend the country�s borders and will vigorously responds to any actions by the enemies of the Islamic Republic.
