MNA � Iranian Parliament's General Director for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Iran expects Europe to decide on the JCPOA based on the mutual interests of the two sides and not to be influenced by Trump�s belligerent policy.







According to the official website of the Iranian Parliament �Khane Mellat�,�Iran�s Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met and talked with French Ambassador to Iran Francois Senemaud on Monday, during which he stressed that Iranian Parliament welcomes exchange of views with French Parliament.

Referring to the talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Europe on the issue of�Iran nuclear deal, Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran has clearly expressed its conditions for the talks and expects to receive the Europeans� package of offers.

He said �Iran expects Europe to decide on the JCPOA based on the mutual interests of the two sides and not to be influenced by Trump�s belligerent policy.�

Later in his remarks, the Iranian parliamentary official referred to the crisis in Yemen, saying that the Saudi and UAE-led Coalition�s assault on al Hudaydah port city will exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe already existing there.

He denied Saudi officials' repeated�claims on Iran�s military weapons transfer to Yemen as �completely false,� saying such claims are aimed at diverting public attentions from the Coalition�s crimes in the war-torn country.

Amir-Abdollahian criticized France for hosting the anti-Iran terrorist organization MKO, calling the Franc�s policy �wrong' in that regard.

Elsewhere, he touched upon the Bahraini Shia cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim�s deteriorating health under siege and called for appropriate dealing with his health situation.

He later condemned the move by the US to transfer its embassy to Jerusalem, saying that such actions would not bring�security for the Zionist regime.

The Iranian parliamentary official further called on France and the international community to condemn the killing of the Palestinians by the Zionist regime and paying special attention to the situation of the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip.

Francois Senemaud, for his part, referred to the visits by the speakers of French National Assembly and Senate of France to Tehran and emphasized the importance of strengthening the parliamentary relations between Iran and France, saying �France is ready to exchange parliamentary delegations between the two countries and welcomes a visit by the Iranian Parliament speaker to France.�

"France and Europe are aware of the expectations and conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran to stay in agreement," he said, referring to the new round of talks between Iran and the three European countries on the future of the nuclear deal.

Senemaud added "we have received Iran's message clearly that continued oil sales and the strengthening of banking relations are two of Iran's main priorities in the negotiations, which are being taken into account by Europe and France.�

French ambassador to Tehran added �France does not seek to withdraw from the JCPOA at all, and believes it is a good deal for the maintanance of security and stability in the international community.�

Referring to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen, he said �sending humanitarian aids to Yemen should be facilitated and all parties involved should try to reach a political solution.�

Senemaud then reminded Amir-Abdollahian of France�s opposition to the relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem, saying �it was a violation of international law by the United States and is not acceptable at all.�

The two sides, at the end, had positive views on the political situation in both Iraq and Lebanon.
