MNA – In a match held on Friday at Tehran’s Azadi stadium, Iran’s national volleyball team gained a 3-1 victory over South Korea in the final week of FIVB Volleyball Nations League.
The match started with 40 minutes delay at 19:10 local time since the previous 5-set rally between Germany and Bulgaria had taken longer than usual which finally end in favor of Germans.
Iran took the first, third and fourth sets (27-25, 25-22, 25-23) while losing the second one (23-25).
Gaining 16 points, Milad Ebadipour was the top scorer for Iran while 19-year-old Saber Kazemi showed astonishing performance at the first set and secured 12 points, including 4 blocks.
