IRNA – Hossein Jaberi Ansari, a senior advisor to Iran foreign minister discussed Syria’s Constitutional Committee with certain Syrian opposition leaders in Geneva.
Ansari, also Iran’s senior negotiator in Syria’ international peace talks, arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday at the head of a delegation.
Jaberi Ansari also held talks with the representatives of Russia and Turkey as the peace guarantors in Syria as well as UN secretary-general’s envoy Staffan de Mistura on June 18-19.
Meanwhile, envoys of Iran, Russia and Turkey and de Mistura also attended the quadrilateral meeting to review the latest development in this Arab country on Tuesday (June 19) morning.
The new round of the talks will be held in Geneva within a few weeks.
Jaberi Ansari left Geneva for Tehran late on Tuesday.
