MNA � Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei congratulated all Muslim nations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of fasting month of Ramadan, saying "the policy taken by the US government has completely failed in the region."


He said, �the auspicious Eid al-Fitr is a day that pious men and women get their reward from the Almighty God.�

He made the above remark in sermons of Eid al-Fitr prayers held today morning at Imam Khomeini (RA) congregational prayers site and hailed the massive turnout of people in this year�s International Quds Day.�

He pointed to US policies adopted in the regional and international levels and said that the policy taken by the US government has completely failed in the region.

US has left no stone unturned to undermine true image of Islamic Revolution since the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, but all its policies have doomed to failure, Leader noted.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Leader pointed to the unity and amity of Muslims of other countries with the great nation of Islamic Iran in organizing International Quds Day and said, �this year, International Quds Day was held gloriously across the world which was different from its previous editions and showed that Quds still is a sacred and holy place for many Muslim nations throughout the world.�

Today, evil powers are concerned about the power and independence of Iranian people, he said, adding, �these powers have always made their utmost efforts against the noble nation of Islamic Iran and have always failed.�

The enemy�s plot is to exert more economic pressure against Iranian people and called on responsible organizations to make their utmost efforts for provision of welfare and prosperity among people of country, he observed.
