IRNA – The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) commission meeting will be held on Friday, a top Iranian official said on Sunday.
The JCPOA commission meeting will be held on Friday upon Iran’s demand, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araqchi told reporters.
He noted that the JCPOA commission meeting will be held without the US presence.
‘We are waiting to see if the Europeans can be committed to their obligations enshrined in the JCPOA,’ the official said.
He said that guaranteeing Iran’s national interests is the main aim of negotiations.
Talks will focus on JCPOA and no other issue will be discussed, Araqchi added.
