IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who is currently in Brussels for nuclear talks discussed over phone a range of issues with four counterparts from Italy, Bulgaria, Austria and Spain.
During phone talks, they explored Iran nuclear deal, known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as well as the need for preserving it as a unique diplomatic achievement in contemporary era.
Zarif stressed the need for giving a chance to diplomacy to ensure the Iranian nation’s benefits enshrined in the original deal.
The four European ministers also voiced backing for JCPOA, saying that the countries are planning to explore ways of preserving JCPOA and Iran’s interests in the international pact.
They also hoped that Iranian foreign minister and his European counterparts would achieve a common and positive prospect in tonight’s session.
