Oman issues statement on U.S. withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal
Times of Oman- The Sultanate's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday issued a statement on the United States of America's decision to withdraw from the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1, saying that it will "follow-up on this development".

The Ministry said in its statement: "Oman has followed up the development of the U.S. decision to withdraw from the nuclear agreement, which was signed in 2015 between Iran and the P5+1, which was adopted by the UN Security Council. Oman has friendly and cooperative relations with the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, will continue to follow-up on this development and make all possible and available efforts to maintain the security and the stability in the region.

"We believe that the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran are interested in achieving peace and stability in the region and the option of confrontation is not in the interest of any party. Oman values the stance of the five partners (P5+1) to adhere to this agreement, thus contributing to regional and international security and stability."
