US withdrawal from nuclear deal unimportant: Minister

IRNA Iranian interior minister said on Monday that the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal is not important and the country is quite prepared for it.

The Iranian nation, following the guidelines of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and in cooperation with the government and other branches of power has the preparedness the experience to administrate the country under any circumstances, Abdelreza Rahmani-Fazli said in a local ceremony.

US' possible withdrawal from the nuclear deal will cause no problem to Iran, the minister said.

He referred to Iran's compliance with its obligations enshrined in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and noted that the US' possible move to withdraw the deal will prove to the world and the Iranian people that Washington is untrustworthy.

The US administration has done a great deal during past years to kill Iran nuclear deal.

Trump is expected to announce his decision regarding suspending sanctions against Iran and continuing the implementation of the JCPOA on May 12.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed ten times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.
