EU/E3 underlines full implementation of Iran Deal

IRNA The European Union together with Germany, France and England in a meeting emphasized full implementation of Iran nuclear deal, also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).


According to European External Action Service (EEAS) website, EU/E3 consultations with Iran on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) took place in Brussels on 8 May 2018.

The meeting was chaired by EEAS Secretary General Helga Schmid and attended by E3 countries (France, Germany, and United Kingdom) at the level of Political Directors. The Iranian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi.

The EU/E3 used this opportunity to reiterate their support to the continued full and effective implementation of the JCPOA by all sides.

US President Donald Trump will announce his decision on Iran nuclear deal Tuesday night.

The US administration has done a great deal during past year to kill Iran nuclear deal.

Trump was initially expected to announce his decision regarding suspending sanctions against Iran and continuing the implementation of the JCPOA on May 12.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed eleven times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.
