Judiciary issues decree to shut down telegram

IRNA – Tehran Public and Revolutionary Court in a decree on Monday declared that the activity of Telegram will be blocked in Iran since April 30.

Many people have lodged numerous complaints at the public and judiciary court calling for closure of Telegram.

Since telegram with the address of (Telegram.org) was founded by foreign investment ignoring rules and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and illegally entered into Iran’s cyberspace, Iran’s judiciary has decided to shut it down.

Telegram created suitable room for illegal activities of terrorists groups in which Daesh terrorists conducted two separate military operations in the Iranian parliament and the second one on Imam Khomeni mausoleum last year claiming lives of 17 and injured scores of others.

Telegram also played a leading role in last year’s unrests claiming lives of citizens and injuring others while incurring huge financial loses to public assets.
