MNA � Head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi says Iranian government is carefully looking into United States and Europe�s behavior towards the nuclear deal with Iran and is ready for all scenarios.


�When the five permanent members of the Security Council, in addition to Germany, reach an agreement with Iran, and this agreement is endorsed by the UN Security Council,� it is not acceptable that the agreement is being weakened as a result of Trump's approach,� Kharrazi said in a panel at the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations on Wednesday.

In response to a question what Iran�s reaction to the US possible withdrawal from the JCPOA would be, Kharrazi, who is also a senior�adviser to Iran�s Leader said �the Islamic Republic of Iran is carefully observing the behavior of the United States and Europe towards the JCPOA,� adding �whenever it (Iran) reaches to the conclusion that the predicted benefits in the deal to the Iranian people are blocked as a result of the United States and its followers� misconduct, Iran is ready for all scenarios and will take necessary steps.�

The two other panelists heading institutes of international studies from Bulgaria and Turkey, criticized the existing double standards in the international relations for their part,�calling for continued cooperation with Iranian research centers.

With regard to existing double standards and hypocrisy in international relations, Kharrazi said that over the past four decades, the Islamic Republic has repeatedly fallen�victim to the injustice in the international system. The UN Security Council's approach to the regime of Saddam Hussein against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the use of chemical weapons against the Iranian nation are two examples of hypocrisy existing in the UN Security Council and the international system, Kharrazi added.

What has happened to the JCPOA, which was the result of years of talks and diplomatic efforts between the P5 + 1 and Iran, indicates the hypocrisy in the international system and the loss of trust in international system among the world's public opinion, the adviser to Iran�s Leader concluded.
