Japan: Iran nuclear deal should remain intact

IRNA Foreign Ministers of Iran and Japan Mohammad Javad Zarif and Tar? K?no have agreed that Iran nuclear deal should remain intact, According to Japanese media Kyodo News .

Zarif and K?no met on Wednesday in Brussels and held talks on various issues namely Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

According to Japan's national public broadcasting organization NHK, K?no said Japan has always supported the 2015 pact, and finds it an indispensable agreement to which that all the parties concerned should adhere.

Japan plans to send scientists and engineers to Iran in June to help the country fully implement its part of the deal, the Japanese FM was quoted as saying.

The US administration has done a great deal over past year to kill Iran nuclear deal.

Trump is expected to announce his decision regarding suspending sanctions against Iran and continuing the implementation of the JCPOA on May 12.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed ten times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said on Tuesday that withdrawing from NPT has been predicted in the treaty and the Islamic Republic of Iran will withdraw from the treaty if the other side scraps the nuclear deal.

When international agreements turn out to be impractical due to illegal acts of some countries, there will be no reason to remain committed to such international pledges by other countries, he said.

In NPT, member-countries are authorized to withdraw from the treaty in case their interests are threatened, he added.
