Iranian nuclear experts due to travel to China

IRNA A delegation consisting of officials and experts from Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) is scheduled to leave for China on Tuesday evening to attend a nuclear seminar, AEOI spokesman said.

The Iran-China International Nuclear Cooperation Seminar is expected to be held in Beijing on Wednesday, Behrouz Kamalvandi said.

The event in the Chinese capital is a follow-up to similar international meetings on peaceful nuclear cooperation already taken place in Brussels, Moscow and Isfahan, Kamalvandi said.

Experts from P5+1 group of countries will discuss issues related to international nuclear cooperation prospects in the framework of the Iran Nuclear Deal, known also as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the third appendix of the international nuclear deal, he added.

Holding talks on cooperation in issues of mutual interests and visiting China nuclear facilities are among the itinerary of the Iranian delegation, Kamalvandi said.
