Iran tea house fire prime suspect busted

IRNA – The main suspect of Tuesday’s fire in a tea house in southwestern Iran was arrested, Ahvaz Police Commander Colonel Mohammad Safari said.

After thorough investigations, police detectives arrested the main suspect of the accident in few hours, Safari said.

The fire is contained but claimed the lives of 11 people and injured 6 others including three firemen, head of Ahvaz Fire Department Atashpad Torabpour earlier said.

Some victims of today’s fire have been identified, Head of Khuzestan emergency public relations office Reza Rafei earlier told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
