IRNA - Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf Bin Alawi arrived in Tehran Friday afternoon for talks with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and other ranking officials on bilateral ties and regional issues.

The Foreign Ministry's Media Diplomacy Department reported that the Iranian foreign minister during a tour of southern Persian Gulf countries in early autumn visited Oman.

Among the Persian Gulf littoral states Oman has always adopted independent policies and Tehran -Muscat relationship has been at the highest level.
