Russia to open service center for maintenance of air defence systems in Iran

vestnik kavkaza– Russia will open a special service center in Iran offering after sale assistance for air defence systems, Presidential Aide for Military Cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said.

“We are creating a special service center in Iran, where we supplied our air defense equipment ,” he said, noting that the military technical cooperation to create Russian service centers “will be definitely developed.”

In 2016, Russia supplied Iran with a S-300 defensive anti-aircraft missile system on a previously signed contract, RIA Novosti recalls.
