Iran’s Yazdani takes over top UWW ranking in freestyle

Tasnim – The United World Wrestling (UWW) has posted updates to the 2018 Ranking Series both in freestyle and Greco-Roman.

Olympic champion Hassan Yazdani Charati , fresh off winning a gold medal at the Asian Championships in Bishkek, took over the No.1 ranking at 86kg in freestyle with 24 points.

Ezzatollah Abbas Akbari Zarinkolaei (24 Points) in 79kg, Mohammadjavad Ebrahimi (22 Points) in 92kg and Mojtaba Goleij (21 Points) in 97kg are second-placed in the rankings.

In Greco-Roman, Iran has four No.1-ranked wrestlers.

Reza Khedri (24 points) in 55kg, Mohammadali Geraei (38 Points) in 77kg, Seyedmostafa Salehizadeh (22 Points) in 97kg and Behnam Mahdizadeh (34 Points) in 130kg are top-ranked wrestlers in the rankings.
