IRNA - Hakem al-Zameli, head of the Iraqi parliament's security committee said Iran�s role in fighting terrorism in Iraq is outstanding compared with that of US.


Iran is also more honest than US advisors in confronting Daesh terrorist group, Al-Zameli told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday.

There are just 100 Iranian advisors in Iraq some of whom were injured or martyred in helping Iraqi forces, he said.

Despite the fact that other countries have more advisors in Iraq, but their consultations are filtered and none of them have been martyred, he added.

He went on to say that American advisors presented detailed and classified information to Daesh terrorists.

This is while Iranian advisors were ready in battle fields and gave information to Iraqi forces, al-Zameli said.
