IRNA � The joint consular meeting between Iran and Germany was held in Tehran on Tuesday.


The event was held with the attendance of director generals of consular departments of Iranian and German foreign ministries.

Consular issues such as facilitating and accelerating visa issuance procedure for professors, students, businessmen and truck drivers, the importance of legal and judicial cooperation and supporting nationals were among the topics discussed by both sides.

German delegation also held meeting with Deputy foreign minister for Iranian Expatriates' and Parliamentary Affairs Hossein Panahi-Azar.
