SHANA - Iran's Fajr Jam Gas Refinery has saved a total of IRR176b (roughly US$4.7m) by acting on the suggestions offered by its staff during the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21 for improvement of processes and operations.

An official with the facility, Yousef Pouladian, said the plant took over 10,000 ideas for improvement of operations in the company from its staff during this fiscal year and implemented over 2,500 of them saving the company huge operational expenses.

He said the company has operated beyond expectations in the current year and has materialized all its projected goals so far.

The company was lauded for efficiently organizing suggestions systems in its operations at the 14th National Festival for Suggestion Systems.
