Bodies of 32 victims found in air crash site

IRNA The dead bodies of 32 passengers have so far been found in Tehran-Yassouj plane crash site, Isfahan governor general said.

An ATR passenger plane belonging to Aseman Airline crashed close to Semirom, south of Isfahan Province, on Sunday when it was flying from Tehran to Yassouj.

All 66 passengers and crew members of the plane lost their lives in the incident.

Due to the bad weather, rescuers and mountaineers are trying to transport the dead bodies without helicopter, Mohsen Mehr Alizade told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Meanwhile, deputy commander of Iran Army Ground Forces Noruz Nemati said that the bodies of some victims are buried under the snow.

In the meantime, Deputy commander of the operation brigadier Kiumars Sharafi said bodies of 7 victims are being transported down Dena Mountains.
