IRNA � A group of people from Eastern Azerbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, visited the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Sunday.

Supreme Leader receives people from northwestern province.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the anniversary of a popular uprising in Tabriz against the Shah's regime on February 18, 1978.
