IRNA Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Saturday that the visit to India by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani firmly cemented centuries-old friendship between the two nations.
'President Hassan Rouhani's State visit to India resulted in many agreements on trade and cooperation, but more importantly, firmly cemented centuries-old friendship between our two nations,' Zarif wrote on his official Twitter account.
President Rouhani who travelled to India on Thursday for a three-day trip, arrived in New Delhi after a two-day stay in Hyderabad. He was officially welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
