IRNA – Head of the European Parliament (EP) foreign affairs committee (EP) David McAllister emphasized EU support for Iran nuclear deal.
McAllister made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian First Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi in Tehran on Wednesday.
During the meeting both sides discussed different aspects of relations between Iran and the European Union.
Sarmadi also appreciated the EU stances towards nuke deal, also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), saying the support should be more tangible and practical in contrast with those trying to kill the deal.
Iran’s regional policy is based upon fighting terrorism and creating stability and security, he said.
Both sides also hailed broadening parliamentary relations.
