IRNA � Iran's Ambassador to London Hamid Baeedinejad said today, all, the US in particular, should take lessons from the past and be aware of Trump's policies which cause insecurity.


Baeedinejad in an instagram post on Wednesday referred to the acknowledgements of former chief of staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell on facts about the US' decision to attack Iraq, and said Lawrence Wilkerson in an article published in New York Times had acknowledged to dreadful facts on decisions leading to the US attack on Iraq.

He said 15 years ago this week, the then Secretary of State, Colin Powell made his infamous address to the UN, trying to perform the scenario designed by George Bush and Dick Cheney to attack the regime of Saddam Hussein as he (Wilkerson) was responsible that time to make the scenario.

He said based on the information, the CIA and Pentagon had tried to show that war was the only way to prevent Iraq, which allegedly possessed of WMDs and supported terrorism, from turning into a bigger threat against the US and the world.
