Times of Oman- Oman's first budget airline SalamAir has announced the launch of flights from Muscat to Shiraz in Iran.

"Say hello to Shiraz! Two weekly flights to our first destination in Iran, starting February 28," the airline said on Thursday, with tickets as low as OMR77.

A home-grown airline, SalamAir is continuously looking for ways to connect more cities from Oman.

The airline is also planning to add more A320 aircraft to its fleet, to meet the need of its expanding network of destinations.
