Efforts to normalize ties with Tel-Aviv to lead nowhere

IRNA - Efforts made to normalize relations between some Arab countries and Tel-Aviv will have no results, Parliament speaker's advisor for international affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian said.

Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine and Hamas are two main pillars of resistance against the Zionist Regime, Amirabdollahian said Tuesday in a meeting with member of Hamas Khaled Ghodumi.

Iran and Palestine have strategic ties; he said referring to regional developments and supporting Palestinian Intifada.

Trump illogical claims once again drew attentions to the Palestinian issues and the Holy Quds, he added.

The role of Islamic countries is crucial in regional and international development, Amirabdollahian said pointing to the 13th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC members (PUIC) which was held on January 13-17 in Tehran.

The five-day PUIC conference focused on the questions of the World of Islam, including the Palestine cause as well as political affairs and foreign relations, human rights, women and family affairs, cultural and legal affairs, dialogue of civilizations and religion, economic affairs, and the environment.

Tel-Aviv cannot play with security of the Islamic countries, he said, adding that today Resistance is in the best conditions.

Meanwhile, Ghodumi said Trump aims to provide security for Zionism.

He also slammed Trumps' acts, saying US administration want to ignore Palestinians rights to provide security for Zionists.

Ghodumi called for Islamic countries to continue support for the Palestinian people and the Resistance.
