Norway reiterates compliance with Iran deal

IRNA – Norwegian ambassador to Iran Lars Nordrum stressed on Oslo’s commitment to Iran nuclear deal officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Addressing a meeting with merchants and businessmen of Mazandaran Province in the north of Iran on Tuesday, Nordrum called for taking advantage of the commitments between Iran and the world countries for developing economic ties between Iran and Norway.

Norway signed 4 economic agreements with Iran in oil and gas, maritime, renewable energy and aquaculture fields in post-sanction era, he said.

We also sealed an agreement with National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on oil exploration, he added.

Norwegian marine and aquatic products manufacturing companies also signed agreements with Iranian firms in Bushehr and Bandar Abbas, he noted.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Nordrum expressed Norway fishing companies’ readiness to have cooperation with private companies in Mazandaran Province.
