Iraqi senior official sends condolence message on Sanchi incident

IRNA – The head of Iraqi National Alliance Ammar Hakim issued a statement to sympathize with the families of the deceased in the Sanchi incident.

In his message, Hakim expressed sorrow, prayed for the deceased, and sympathized with the Islamic Revolution Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iranian government and the families and relatives of the victims if the incident.

On January 6, Panamanian-flagged Sanchi tanker got ablaze after a collision with a Hong Kong-flagged freighter in East China waters. The tanker was carrying condensate CNG to South Korea from Iran. All 32 people on board, 30 Iranian and two Bangladeshi, died in the incident.
