Turkey seeking more oil imports from Iran, Azerbaijan

IRNA – Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said Turkey imports oil and gas from both Iran and Azerbaijan and is seeking to buy more oil products from the two countries.

Cavusoglu made the remarks speaking at a press conference after the Fifth Trilateral Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic in Baku.

Referring to a recent OIC Summit held in Istanbul to review a decision by the US president to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy Quds, the Turkish foreign minister expressed hope that Trump will give up his decision.

He noted that Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan will stand by the Palestinian people.
