Iranian FM, Nakhchivan speaker meet

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov met in Tehran on Sunday.

Iranian and Azerbaijjani peoples feel at home in either of the countries and never feel like foreigners, Zarif said.

He said Iran welcomes expansion and facilitation of ties with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and is ready to increase cooperation in railways, infrastructure projects, agriculture, joint productions, facilitation of customs, and electricity production.

Expressing happiness with his visit to Iran and expansion of ties with the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially Nakhchivan, Talibov said his county is ready to expand relations in energy, tourism, and transportation.
