Extraordinary OIC Summit kicks off in Istanbul




[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="600"] The extraordinary Islamic summit started work in Istanbul Wednesday with a meeting at the level of foreign ministers in preparation for the summit at the leadership level that is expected to convene later in the day to discuss the US decision on Jerusalem (al-Quds). Representatives from 57 OIC members are attending the summit, which is meant to coordinate a response to a US decision to recognize Jerusalem (al-Quds) as Israels capital. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani traveled to Istanbul to take part in the summit.[/caption]
