Iranian President: S. Arabia entangled in "War of Princes"

FNA- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in remarks alluding to Saudi Arabia referred to the rivalry among the Arab country's princes on ascending to the thrown, and blasted Riyadh for launching war against Yemen and supporting the terrorists.

"Certain countries are experiencing a war of princes inside," President Rouhani said, addressing a large gathering of Iranian people in the Southeastern city of Zabol on Saturday.

"They have been bombing their neighbor (Yemen) for three years and they helped the ISIL several years so that they, as they claim, can have influence in the region," he added.

President Rouhani, meantime, underlined Iran's willingness to have close ties with all regional states, saying, "We dont want any gap between Iran and the Arab world."

He also expressed pleasure that the ISIL terrorist group's main strongholds in the region have been annihilated, and said Iran hopes for uprooting terrorism in the region with the support of the people.

Arab media reported in October that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has ordered triple security checks and body search on visitors as he is deeply afraid of assassination attempts on his life by not just visitors, but even close relatives and aides.

"Bin Salman is living in horror. All those who want to meet him (even the closest ones) should go through three inspection rooms and all their belongings and whatever they carry are taken away from them, even a small pen in the second room," al-Ahd al-Jadid wrote on its twitter.

Anyone who wants to meet bin Salman is thoroughly checked from top to toe and this is done on everyone even close relatives and family members.

Other Arab media outlets also reported in August that bin Salman has escaped an assassination attempt at one of the royal family palaces in Jeddah.
