MNA – The Commander of Iran’s Basij Resistance Force Gholamhossein Gheybparvar said that the Zionist regime is against humanity and added “that is why athletes should not compete with Zionist contenders.”
On the margin of the celebration held in honor of the Iranian wrestler Alireza Karimi, the commander of Iran’s Basij Resistance Force Gholamhossein Ghebparvar said “we consider the Zionist regime a fake inhumane regime that strives against all that is good and holy. That is why neither an athlete nor anyone else, should accept this regime.”
“We held a celebration in honor of our young athlete, for his truly honorable deed,” he added.
“I had not met Alireza Karimi before, but when I met him I realized what a worthy, moral young man he is. His father told me that Alireza hopes to meet the leader of the Islamic Revolution someday. For my part, I thank this praiseworthy young man and I hope he can shine in the future. Alireza Karimi is very dear to the people of Iran today,” went on Gheybparvar.
When asked about what is to be done in similar situations in the future, the commander of Iran’s Basij Resistance Force said “some people ignore certain aspects of the matter, and they need to remember that what Alireza Karimi did was very honorable. Otherwise, he would grant recognition to a fake, infanticidal regime.”
