Int’l Conference on Quran, Humanities kicks off in Qom

IRNA – The first International Conference of Quran and the Humanities started work here on Thursday with participation of a number of religious scholars, theologians and researchers of Quran from different world countries.

Directing the human sciences towards the Quran guidelines is the main aim of today’s event underway in Qom, secretary of the conference said.

Researchers of the holy Quran from ten world countries have already submitted their papers in the Persian, English and Arabic languages, Mohammad-Ali Rezaei-Esfahani added.

The remarks made by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei about Quran and human sciences were read out in the Qom conference this morning.
