Frances exports to Iran at five-year high



IFP - A new report indicates the volume of Frances exports to Iran in the first nine months of this year has set a new record over the past five years.





According to the latest reports released by Eurostat, France exported 1,053 million worth of goods to Iran in the first nine months of 2017 which is significantly higher compared with the annual exports of the country to Iran since 2012 to 2016.

Frances exports to Iran have grown significantly since the beginning of this year, a Farsi report by the Tasnim News Agency said.

France exported 1,053m worth of goods to Iran in the first nine month of 2017 which shows a 129 percent growth compared with a similar period of time last year. Back in 2016, France had exported 458m worth of goods in the first nine month of the year.

Meanwhile the exports of France to Iran in the first nine months of 2017 are significantly higher compared with the same period in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Frances export to Iran from 2016 to 2012 stood respectively at 721m, 562m, 453m, 493m and 803m.

The report also said France imports from Iran in the first nine months of 2017 showed a 119-percent growth compared with the same period last year, reaching 878m. France had imported goods worth 857m in the first nine months of 2016.

The trade volume between Iran and France, the report said, reached 2,931m in the first nine months of 2017 which shows a 122 percent growth compared with the same period last year which stood at 1,315m.
