Turkey to continue fighting Daesh, solve Syrian crisis on diplomacy

IRNA Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlt avu?o?lu says his country will continue cooperation with Iran and Russia to fight Daesh group and follow the diplomatic process to solve Syria crisis.


avu?o?lu made the remark in an interview with reporters after a meeting with Iranian and Russian counterparts in Antalya.

He said he and the Iranian and Russian counterparts had in their meeting made necessary coordination for their summit on Syria, due to be held in Sochi, Russia, on November 22.

He added that he had informed the counterparts on his country's sensitivity over the meeting and all the parties and addressees of the tripartite meeting in Sochi, i.e. Iran and Russia, know Turkish stances pretty well.

He went on briefing the reporters that the meeting also focused on setting up check centers in the zones free of clashes north of Adlib province.

He said that he had also announced at the session that Turkey opposes participation of PKK and PYD in international meetings, including Syrian National Dialogue Congress that will take place in Sochi, Russia, at the beginning of December.
