Iranian, Russian, Turkish FMs meet in Antalya
IRNA Iranian, Russian and Turkish foreign ministers on Sunday attended a tripartite meeting on Syria crisis.


Foreign Ministers of Iran Mohammad-Javad Zarif, of Russia, Sergei Lavrov and of Turkey, Mevlt avu?o?lu attended the meeting in Antalya, Turkey.
Zarif and Lavrov had earlier held bilateral meeting on the issue.

Giving a press briefing on outcome of today session, Zarif said, 'The meeting is a complementary to the summit statement, held in Sochi, to prepare the ground for successful outcome of the meeting their presidents.'

He said Iran, Turkey and Russia are ready to establish means for lasting security, stability and peace in Syria.
'The measures taken in Astana, Kazakhstan, over the past 11 months have dramatically minimized conflicts in Syria.'

The Minister said regional cooperation has so much so effective that the fatalities people sustained in Syria fell considerably and the Syrian government and the resistance forces have gained the power enough to focus more on campaign against the terrorist groups and attain very good success.
He added that presidents of Iran, Russia and Turkey have decided to attend a summit in Sochi, Syria, on Wednesday to proceed the process and find ways of guaranteeing a better future for national unity through coordination and in light of Syrian people's consensus.

Zarif said the Saturday session in Tehran featured senior experts of the three countries reviewing the draft of the final statement of the three countries' presidents and today foreign ministers of the three countries will elaborate on the issue.

He hoped that the Wednesday session of the three presidents will be successful. 'We hope to prepare a suitable ground for overcoming bitter conditions of the Syrian people. Those are the Syrian people who prepare the ground for stability, peace and security of their country along with the Syrian government.'
