Iranian bank denies Israel sanction rumors

IRNA The ties between Bank Sepah of Iran and German state banks are expanding, said head of international office of Bank Sepah of Iran on Saturday.

Denying the baseless rumors spread by certain Israeli journals which were quoted by section of domestic ones, Amir Hosseini said, Frankfurt Branch of Bank Sepah has so far given 607 million euros of currency and credit in Germany.

He said that the Frankfurt Branch of Bank Sepah has been connected to TARGET 2 and SEPA banking systems.

After the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also called Iran Nuclear Deal, the sanctions on Bank Sepak and other Iranian banks were removed.
