Cuban president sympathizes Iran over quake victims

IRNA – Cuban president offered his condolences in a message to President Hassan Rouhani over the loss in the Sunday quake in west of Iran.

Raúl Castro expressed his sorrow and offered condolences to the Iranian government, people and the bereaved of the earthquake.

The President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Cuban Parliament, Esteban Lazo Hernández also sent a message to his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani over the sad event.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq on November 12. The quake was felt in some neighboring countries as well.

Based on the latest statistics, at least 436 people have been killed and over 9,000 injured in quake-stricken areas in Iran.
