IRNA - Iranian Deputy FM for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari arrived in Moscow on Tuesday for bilateral talks and discussing regional developments.

Jaberi Ansari, who is also Iran's senior negotiator in Syria talks in Astana, told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that he will meet his Russian counterpart Mikhail Bogdanov and Russian special presidential envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev.

Astana talks was an initiative launched by Iran, Russia and Turkey aimed at establishing a comprehensive ceasefire in Syria.

Several rounds of talks have been held in Kazakhstan's capital, Astana, attended by a number of Syria's opposition groups and representatives of the Syrian government.
